'My Art Collection' program

I bought 'My Art Collection' a few years ago at the recommendation of the person who manages my website. This month I finally used it for an appraisal of a client's photo collection. It was straight forward to use and when I couldn't figure out something (which seemed to always have more to do with my lack of understanding of my computer than the program) the people at My Art Collection were surprisingly responsive. Now I am putting our art collection on it and then I am finally going to inventory my own artwork using the database.

I have meant to create a real inventory of my own work for years now. There comes a point when you are making work at such a rate that you feel you will never be able to catch up photographing it, putting it on your website and adding it to a database. I still have two bodies of work from 2010 that I want to add to my website! I know this is a common refrain from artists who would far prefer to either make art than manage the business of being an artist. I actually feel motivated to get organized now, and will start by using this filemaker program. I'll blog more as I get moving on it.
